Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in which he will graduate in the fall of this year. In 1993 Jesse became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. in which he is still an active member. Mr. Williams started working in the Human Services field at Center for Comprehensive Services in Carbondale Illinois as a direct service provider. His first clients were youth that suffered from brain injuries. He continued working with brain injured youth for two years and later
moved to Sacramento, CA. After moving to Sacramento, he started working with the developmentally disabled population at On My Own and Strategies to Empower People in a supervisory role. In 2010 he started working as the Director of Client Services for Roseville West Services, a company that provided care to older adults. After working as the Director of Client Services for two years, Roseville West Services closed its doors. In 2013, Mr. Williams started working at NorCal Mental Health America as a Program Coordinator overseeing the Older Adult Program and became a Certified WRAP Facilitator that same year. After working for Norcal MHA for a little over a year, Mr. Williams was promoted to a
management position to oversee several other programs. Currently he is overseeing the SCC Older Adult Program, Consumer Operated Warm-Line, Front Office and serve as the Executive Producer and Host for the Mental Health Matters T.V. Show.
