This workshop will discuss initiatives piloted by United Peers and RHD designed to train and provide employment opportunities for Certified Peer Specialists. It will include the United Peers internship program; challenges and possible solutions for CPS career development; and the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) grant for CPS staff.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn effective approaches to managing CPS in the workforce.
2. Understand the obstacles and challenges associated with CPS in the workforce.
3. Have the opportunity to examine two initiatives that has successfully placed approximately 20 CPS in 2015 & 2016
