Presentation on work to date in the school system in Scotland. Looking at demographics of the pilot area and the implications it had on how WRAP was rolled out and the subsequent buy in from Parents and local community. We will share Lessons learned and progress that has been made to create an approach that offers an alternative way to build a robust community of wellness and inclusion in schools that is sustainable and also provides a foundation to support pupils as they move through the school system. In doing so we are hoping to develop system of support within the school that will follow the children through the years and well into adulthood. Early intervention and empowering children to be responsible citizens has been the driving force behind this project but we will discuss the potential for further development within the school community i.e. Family WRAP etc

Learning Objectives:
1. Have an understanding of the barriers to developing WRAP in socially deprived areas. 2. Explore the benefits of developing a robust support system within school 3. Discover how WRAP can bring added value to the school curriculum in Scotland
