Mentoring for Re-Entering is here to facilitate the renewing, the rebuilding and the reconstruction of lives, allowing formally incarcerated individuals to have the best opportunity to succeed. The Mentoring for Reentering program involves trained mentors following a standard curriculum, a core set of practices and values.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn more about how using peer-facilitated groups and peer support can reduce the rate of recidivism for service recipients reentering the community.
2. Gain insight into strategic ways to communicate during each phase of the mentor/mentee relationship cycle.
3. Put aside preconceived ideas and refrain from passing judgment, ensuring that mentee's are provided with the same level of respect that you desire for yourself
